Wedding Dress Alterations

You've found your gown, but it's not quite the perfect fit...yet.  Whether you found your gown at a couture salon or a bridal sample sale, the options for alterations are nearly endless.  Many gowns need at least some sort of alteration, but keep in mind that your alteration issues can vary greatly, depending on where you purchased your gown and how many changes need to be made. But if your expectations are in order, you should be ready for your wedding day with a gown that fits flawlessly.

Tips for Brides

• Wear undergarments.  We ask each bride to get in and out of the gown during fitting.  We recommend brides bring a strapless bra and modest underwear.
• Bring shoes that are about the heel height you intend to wear on your wedding day.  This is to make sure the length of the gown is ideal.
• It's important to time your alterations right. Bring your gown in too late, and you run the risk of not allowing enough time to have all the changes made.
• Whose opinion matters?  Remember, this is the bride's day and we are here to make your gown everything you want it to be.
